Job description
Conducting physical and psychological assessment of patients
Assessing the client’s health condition and environments and deciding what adjustments are needed
Facilitate the process to equip the patient with skills
Develop a plan of care that meets the client’s needs as identified during the interview and assessment phases
Assist legal professional by facilitating and making recommendations in medico reports
Requirements
A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
Minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience
Experience in vocational/physical rehabilitation and functional assessment will be an advantage
Registration with the HPCSA as an Occupational Therapist and other relevant statutory bodies
Valid practice number
Valid driver’s license
Candidate must be passionate about working with disabled people
Have ability to work independently
Required to submit

A motivational letter of no longer than one page
Certified copy of driver’s license
