Looking for a Short Term Administrator – Umhlanga Rocks Drive

Experience
The successful incumbent will have at least 4 or more years experience as an administrator within the short-term insurance claims, administration and underwriting (essential)

Formal education and qualifications as a minimum requirement

• Matric
• NQF level 4 qualifications
• Relevant short term insurance qualification
• Competent in insurance systems and related legislation
• Must be computer literate on a basic to intermediary level on Microsoft software, with excellent internet and email communication skills
• RE5 accredited
• Minimum FAIS credits applicable
• Product knowledge and completed training (essential)
• Must have high initiative and entrepreneurial skills and must be able to work independently

Sound Responsibilities

Register and update claims from clients
• Liaise with insurers and clients on all aspects of the claims process
• Following up with Insurers/ Call centers regarding claims progress
• Negotiate claim settlements
• Prepare new business quotations
• Capture new business policies
• Handle client queries effectively and professionally
• Underwriting in accordance with company policies and procedures
