Introduction
The Junior Database Administrator will support the IT team in maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing company databases. This entry-level role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to build a career in database management, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability across systems.

Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems
Monitor database performance and ensure optimal functionality
Perform regular backups and assist with data recovery processes
Support data security and access control measures
Troubleshoot database issues and escalate where necessary
Assist with database upgrades, patches, and migrations
Maintain accurate documentation of database structures and processes
Work with developers and other IT staff to support data-related needs
Desired Experience & Qualification
Basic understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)
Knowledge of SQL and database querying
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and grow within the IT field
