Africa Forensic Services is a small firm based in the Western Cape. The owner, who was previously employed at a BIG 4 audit firm, believes that all investigations undertaken by us, should provide high-quality, professional execution of investigation engagements and strive to ensure that we make meaningful, contributions towards our client’s objectives. Prior to the acceptance of any engagement, we ensure that we have resources with the relevant knowledge, skills, experience and independence for us to discharge our responsibilities objectively and effectively.

We believe that our investigation solutions, could help companies that may be experiencing dishonesty or unethical behavior in their company. We have the necessary skills and experience to investigate a wide range of criminal offences or policy and procedural breaches, which are common in the work place. We investigate matters related to fraud, theft of cash or noncash assets, conflict of interest, procurement irregularities and various other forms of corrupt or unethical practices. Our investigative methodology includes the use of digital forensic technology. During our investigations, we also identify fraud risks or emerging risks enabling companies to close gaps and strengthen internal control weaknesses.
Our service offerings are not restricted to investigating fraud of a complex nature or investigations, which may require a multi-disciplinary team of professionals. Our services are flexible and caters for client’s who may have specific needs, such as drafting of affidavits, conducting interviews or providing specialist advice and support in area of specialization, which may enable the provision of effective fraud risk management. The owner Jeremy Fabe, is a certified fraud examiner, with a proven track record of achieving investigation objectives for global based companies and government departments. His more that 20 year’s investigation experience ranges from leading investigations into matters, such as fraud, corrupt practices, supply chain irregularities, misappropriation of cash and noncash assets, theft of inventory and various other forms of unethical behavior. His work experience spans across a wide array of industry sectors in South Africa, including countries such as Malawi and Mozambique.
