We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate House Domestic & Caregiver to provide essential household support alongside attentive personal care. This dual role is designed for individuals who excel in maintaining a well-organized, hygienic home environment while offering empathetic assistance to family members and children. The ideal candidate will combine reliability and discretion with warmth and patience, ensuring both the smooth running of the household and the wellbeing of those in their care.

Duties & Responsibilities
Household Duties

General housekeeping: cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, ironing.

Kitchen duties: dishwashing, maintaining hygiene standards, assisting with meal preparation.

Household organization: maintaining wardrobes, cupboards, and household inventory.

Errands: grocery shopping, collecting dry cleaning, household supplies.

Occasional hosting support: setting up for guests, serving meals, clearing after events.

Caregiving Duties

Assisting with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding.

Administering pills as prescribed and monitoring health needs.

Providing companionship and emotional support.

Supporting mobility: helping with walking, transfers, or use of mobility aids.

Childcare support (if applicable): supervising children, assisting with homework, school runs.

Coordinating medical appointments, transport, and follow-ups.

Requirements
Skills and Competencies:

Ability to communicate in English

Proven experience in domestic work and/or caregiving.

Compassionate, patient, and attentive to individual needs.

Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently.

Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of household privacy.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication skills; bilingual ability is an advantage.

Flexibility with working hours, including weekends or evenings if required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12 / Matric certificate
Formal caregiver training or certification preferred
1–2 years’ experience in caregiving or healthcare support
Valid driver’s license (if transport duties required)
Clear criminal record and contactable references
Additional Requirements:

Willingness to stay-in, work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Commitment to client confidentiality and dignity
Familiarity with health and safety regulations
